My family has been a Mission group customer for many years prior to us having the opportunity to buy into the Ella Condo development. The delivery of service from Mission group has always been excellent. We are looking forward to our move into the best looking building in Kelowna.Unfortunately after moving into our new condo, our opinion of mission group took a major dive. Their promise to deliver a quality product was a smoke screen. Don’t be fooled by the presentation, they do not deliver as promised.

We bought in at the Secret Ridge development in Coquitlam and have been here about 5 years now. We have a lot of problems with our house. Things that were discussed with the builder as part of our discrepancy list but never fixed by the builder. The floors have so many creaking spots under the laminate it is embarrassing to have people over. On some of the spots the laminate lifts up and down as much as a centimeter or two. You can actually see the laminate lifting up and down and the floors make a loud creaking noise that i am sure the neighbors can hear across the street. Under cabinet lighting has failed and cannot be fixed because the power converters for the 12v LED light was buried in the wall behind the cabinets. They would have to be ripped out to get at them so the system will need to be replaced with new instead of just replacing the power supply. The tile in the basement has cracked and the grout is coming out. The floor between the upstairs bedroom and our master bedroom is so noisy when walked on it is impossible to sleep.Doors no longer latch when closed. I could deal with some of the minor issues and I have fixed several things such as the tile and doors that don't close but the flooring is SO BAD we are thinking of moving. I would welcome contact by Mission Group but i don't expect that to happen. They made no effort to remedy this in the first year we were here, and made no more contact after that. So be warned!

I would highly recommend Mission Group. I bought a unit at Brooklyn downtown Kelowna and had tenants that really destroyed my brand new unit. Ryan and his Customer Care team were prompt, professional and kind to repair many things under warranty but also other issues from tenant damage. Having such an amazing after-sales team like Ryan, Dan, Kevin and the rest of his crew gave me assurance that I 100% made the right decision to invest in Aqua 1 and Aqua 2. This is just my experience and it's all been extremely positive. Thank you Mission Group and your amazing staff.

UPDATE: While Mission Group promised, in writing, to fix our floors following this review, they haven't done so and ignored my emails since July 2020!I live in the Secret Ridge development in Burke Mountain. This development should have been Mission Group’s flagship/showcase project. Great location, floorplans, and architecture. Instead, due to poor selection of trades and poor workmanship throughout, it is an embarrassment to them and to anyone living there. Many homes including mine have been experiencing squeaky floors within the first few months of occupancy (the first home resale almost did not go through until the owner fixed the squeaky floors in a year-old home!). Whatever was reported in the first year warranty has been fixed, but more and more squeaks have developed over time. A foreman who worked on site told me that they’ve used nails and no glue on the sub-floors. We will need to remove all carpeting and flooring in order to properly secure the floor to the joists before we even think of selling – a very costly endeavour! They have used sub-par electrical work in the kitchen spotlighting and LED cabinet lighting which has also been failing. Unacceptable drywall taping in the garage and some locations within the home, where corner tape is splitting from the wall (something that should not happen with properly-placed tape). Some roofs in the development have had leaks, even after Mission Group had sent a contractor to fix their poor roofing job (outlined in two engineering reports). The person who applied popcorn ceiling paint in my home has sprayed inside every electrical junction box on all the wires (something I’ve found out only recently) instead of covering them before spraying like a professional would do. Their decision to locate the basement’s cold air return in the ceiling instead of pulling it down the wall (why would they do that?) has led to a very cold basement and need for us to warm it up and pay higher hydro bills. I can go on and on and on! The worst part – even in the first year, almost every complaint was met with pushback from them. For example, they insisted of fixing my squeaky stairs by opening the drywall from below (lots of dust and inconvenience for us) instead of peeling the carpet, fixing the stairs and stapling the carpet again (fast and dust free) and only after lots of back and forth begging they have fixed it the right way. Completely unacceptable for a so-called reputable builder. I doubt they’ll ever care about this review or other negative one they got in the past. Will never buy from Mission Group again.

Our experience thus far with Mission Group has been great. Very professional and walked us through the purchase of our Brooklyn unit. Very pleased to receive regular email updates with photos on the status of the development They have been responsive and in regular communication throughout the project.

I'm loving my new Mission Group rental place at 468 West Avenue!! I believe it's the best location in Kelowna, and the Mission Group has been so responsive to all of my needs ever since i moved in in July of this year. The property is awesome, and the amenities and local services nearby can't be beat. Thank you team. You really do make me feel important and welcome.

The purchasing experience at Brooklyn was fantastic. The agent supported us with choosing the right unit for our needs. The finishings in the show suite were beautiful and as expected for the price.
